  • Even a Carrera car has to pit sometimes

    A real racing experience for the DIGITAL 124 or DIGITAL 132 track! The Pit Lane adds Carrera an important racing element to your Carrera track. The Pit Lane works in conjunction with the Control Unit (30352) or the Black Box (30344). However, the extended refueling function is only available when used with the Control Unit!

    The pit lane gives you three new ways to make the races on your track even more exciting and add tactical elements.
    Automatic Lap Counting

    First, a lap counter is integrated into the pit lane. Especially during longer races, it’s easy to lose track of the laps you’ve completed. Thanks to the automatic counter, you can focus entirely on your lap times. The lap counter can also be disabled if desired.
    Refueling the cars

    No matter which racing series—the pit stop is always a special moment. Used tactically, it can decide between victory and defeat. The same goes for your Carrera track! You can set the slot cars to make regular pit stops. If you don’t go to the pits, the slot cars slow down and the outcome can change completely. To check the fuel level in your tank, you’ll need the Driver Display (30353).
    Use of a Pace Car

    The pit lane is also used to have a pace car lead the race. Just like in real races, you can bring the pace car onto the track after accidents to recover vehicles that have gone off the track. Just make sure that the slot car is equipped with pace car electronics. If you want to use the refueling function and a pace car at the same time, you’ll need two pit lanes.
