USS The Sullivans (DD-537) was a Fletcher-class destroyer of the United States Navy. It was named in honor of the five Sullivan brothers who served aboard the USS Juneau (CL-52), which sank during the Battle of Guadalcanal in 1942. Construction began on October 10, 1942, and it was completed on April 4, 1943, and commissioned on September 30, 1943.

After commissioning, the USS Sullivan was deployed to the Pacific Theater and participated in fierce battles. In late October 1944, it supported the Allied landings on Leyte Island in the Philippines. In March 1945, Sullivan participated in the Battle of Okinawa, repelling numerous kamikaze attacks and rescuing crew members from damaged friendly ships. During World War II, Sullivan earned nine battle stars. After the war, Sullivan returned to the United States in July 1945, underwent major repairs, and was assigned to the reserve fleet in 1946

The USS Sullivan was recommissioned and modernized in 1953, and later participated in the 1958 Marine Corps landings in Lebanon. During the Cuban Missile Crisis in October 1962, it participated in the U.S. Navy's blockade of Cuba

The USS Sullivan was officially decommissioned in 1965 and subsequently donated to the Naval Military Park at Buffalo, New York, as a memorial ship. In 2018, due to improper maintenance, the Sullivan began to leak slowly below the waterline, eventually leading to its sinking in the Naval Park in 2022
