The Fujian(CV-18), also called Type 003 Aircraft Carrier, the first ejection Aircraft Carrier of People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) , fully indigenously designed and built by Jiangnan Shipyard in China.

The Fujian is estimated to be 320 meters long, 78 meters wide and full load displacement over 80000 tons. The Fujian is conventionally powered carrier and also the biggest warship ever built and commissioned in Asian history.

The most different between TheFujian and Type001/Type002 is The Fujian using the electromagnetic catapult system (EMALS) instead of using ski-jumps (STOBAR). The aircarfts on the Fujian will include J-15 Fighters, J-35 Fighters, KJ-600 AEW&C, the total number of aircraft is expected to be about 60.

The Fujian was started to preparing the construction in 2010, and the media reported that it was under construction in 2016. The Fujian was officially announced by CCTV to be launched on June 17, 2022, and officially named the Fujian, the province name of China. On May 1, 2024 and May 23, 2024, the Fujian conducted two sea trials in succession and completed successfully, thats mean its delivery to the navy and formal commissioning will be in the near future. The commissioning of the Fujian will greatly enhance the strength of the Chinese Navy, and meanwhile it proves that China's aircraft carrier technology has reached the world's first-class level, and has entered a new era of "three aircraft carriers".
