- The M19 self-propelled anti-aircraft gun is a US Army self-propelled anti-aircraft gun built on the chassis of the M24 light tank.
- In 1943, the T65E1 prototype was produced, which was equipped with an open-top turret mounted on the rear of the M24 chassis and a twin 40mm M2 cannon. After some improvements, it was adopted as the M19 self-propelled anti-aircraft gun.
- A total of 904 M19 self-propelled anti-aircraft guns were ordered from the manufacturer in August 1944, and production began in April 1945. However, by June of that year, 285 had been completed, and the remaining orders were canceled due to the end of the war.
- After the war, it was used in the Korean War and was issued to countries that adopted the M24 along with other M24 variants.
- 35 vehicles were provided to the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force in 1953 and were used until 1979.
- The kit's tracks are link-and-length type, and etching, metal barrel, and decals are included.
